  • Tarkista sähköliitännät: Irrota venttiililohkon (Y36/4) sähköliitin. Tarkista, onko pinneissä hapettumaa, vettä tai likaa. Puhdista tarvittaessa elektroniikan puhdistusspraylla.
  • Mittaa venttiilin vastus: Mittaa yleismittarilla vastus (ohmit) venttiililohkon puolelta oikean takakulman venttiilin pinneistä. Jos arvo on nolla (oikosulku) tai poikkeaa merkittävästi muista venttiileistä, käämi on rikki.
  • Tarkista johdotus: Varmista, ettei venttiililohkolta ohjainlaitteelle menevässä johtosarjassa ole näkyviä vaurioita tai hankaumia auton alustassa.
  • Vaihda venttiililohko: Koska yksittäistä magneettikelaa ei yleensä voi vaihtaa erikseen, ratkaisuna on tyypillisesti koko tasonsäädön venttiililohkon (Y36/4) uusiminen.

Airmatic is controlled by the N51 Air Suspension Control Module. Useful diagnostics include ride height sensor values, compressor activation, valve block actuation, reservoir pressure, corner pressures, compressor runtime, calibration, fault memory. Generic OBD-II exposes none of this. Mercedes DAS/Xentry exposes essentially all of it.

• Eg: Control unit is under the passenger footwell (the carpet up, remove nuts to pull the steel plate). • Checked Voltage on rear level sensor and it goes from 2.8 to 4.9 and it’s on 4.9 when it’s dropped, using a jack.
• the leveling sensor in the rear was on the middle of the sway bar! (kallistuksenvakaaja)
