- isopropyl alcohol
Also the adhesives are needed
- Display adhesive
- Rear cover adhesive
Remove the backcover
Back cover's right edge
- Heat (to < 100˚C) back cover's right edge (there is less adhesive) for two (2) minutes.
- Suction cup to a center of right edge
- Slice through the right edge
Bottom edge
- Heat for 2 min
Remaining edges. Be careful with the corners.
- Remove the back cover from the frame.
The midframe
- Remove the nine 4mm Phillips screws from the to midframe.
- Loosen the plastic clips.
- Loosen the midframe from the notch on the left edge of the phone (near the power button).
- Disconnect the battery
- Remove the battery
- Find the plastic clips
Disconnect the screen
- Heat the right edge of the screen for two (2) minutes.
- Apply the suction cup.
- Slice the screen adhesive.
- Heat the bottom edge for one (1) minute
- Repeat and finally remove the screen
